The Park Tool PP-1.2 is a purpose-built tool for spreading brake pads and compressing caliper pistons during hydraulic brake service. It makes it easy to insert the disc between the pads when reinstalling a caliper or wheel and the dual density handle provides a positive grip. Fits into most hydraulic disc brake caliper bodies, including Shimano® XTR®.
